Ashley is a Broadway Musical fan, Bonus Mom, and Instructional Designer... in that order.
This Florida native, living in Philadelphia, began her exploration into the education field at the University of Central Florida, in Orlando, FL. Her passion for education lead her to an instructional system design career, beginning in 2013. Her first post as an Instructional Designer was with the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice; prior to this she was an online Language Arts instructor at Florida Virtual School. Her time in these companies introduced her to leaders in the education field, innovative ideas for information dispersal, and global learning theories that helped to shape the educator she is today.
Ashley's talents are not limited to just instruction systems design, she's also a millennial, Microsoft guru, ukulele player, and avid reader; not to mention she's an Air Force wife, and owner of Baron von Fluffy Face, a silver standard-poodle. She can be found volunteering for local community projects, through Big Bend CDC, or gracing the hallways at her not-for-profit job, GS1 US, located in Lawrenceville, New Jersey.
