Our computer lab contains 28 desktop
computers, where our students are given the following opportunities:

open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Elementary students are able to visit the library once per week with
their classes to
check out books. Secondary students may visit before and after
school and at their teacher's discretion. Students
take computer lab classes based on NETS-S. (Please visit the National
Educational Technology Standards for Students website
for more information).
- Students
learn touch-typing keyboarding skills, how to create documents in
Microsoft
Word, spreadsheets in Excel, presentations using PowerPoint, and
brochures in Publisher.
- Students
explore Google Earth (free download) and it's
possibilities and use their creativity in TuxPaint (another free
download).
- Students
are introduced to photo
editing (free site) and gif animation (another free site).
- Students
are taught the importance of copyright laws, how to avoid plagiarism
(website), and how to choose royalty-free pictures at Pics4learning or Flickr and royalty-free music at Hibou
or Incompetech.

students are able to visit the computer lab for research purposes.
- Students
are given the opportunity to create presentations for classroom
projects using PowerPoint and Prezi.

learn about the importance of online safety, how to recognize
cyberbullies, and how to use proper netiquette.
Please take a
moment to learn more about netiquette by clicking on this link: video.
Then watch the presentation on cyberbullying below. Afterwards,
