What is Virtual Learning?

Virtual Learning is the act of continuing education at home.  Throughout their educational carrer, students may opt to continue their education at home through the use of online tools.  Based on the stay-at-home order that all schools are temporarily closed, students will be using an online platform known as Microsoft Teams to contiue their instruction with their teachers.  This will allow students to continue to focus on their lessons while continuing to follow the stay-at-home order and practice social distancing.

Updates from the district

This just in: The State advised local school districts to extend the school closures through May 1, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While we certainly miss our students, their safety, and the health of our community, remains of critical importance. All events through May 1 have been canceled at this time, but there are no changes to graduation as of yet. Our digital learning plans are now being enacted, and we will continue to support our students, families, and teachers on this new learning journey. #LearningNeverStopsinSDOC
