Projects

This page highlights key projects completed as part of my coursework in EME6507. Each project includes a brief description and direct access to the completed work.

Multimedia Project Web Shell

Project 1 - Grade: 88.5%

The task for this project was to create a multimedia project of our own choosing, which would be finalized and polished for the final submission. However, the main focus of this phase was to introduce technical skills, design principles, and usability rather than content, as the content would be emphasized in the final project. For this project, I chose to return to one of the projects I completed during my master’s program called HappyHabit. I used Dreamweaver to create the site, which was a refreshing experience. The website included three pages: Home, About, and Resources. The Home page introduced the project, the About page presented the mission and direction of HappyHabit, and the Resources page contained the HappyHabit PDF document along with external links.

Graphics-Layout Media Project

Project 2 - Grade: 90%

For this project, we were tasked with creating a presentation using Microsoft PowerPoint on a topic we chose. I chose to create a presentation on hemiplegia, drawing from my own experience and research I found along the way. I used Canva to design and create the project, then exported it into PowerPoint to finalize it for submission. I enjoyed learning more about the topic I chose and exercising my creativity while completing each component of the project.

Mini-Podcast Project

Project 3 - Grade: 89%

We were tasked with creating a mini podcast on a topic we could discuss for about three minutes. I chose to talk about my experience obtaining my undergraduate degree, the job market, and how difficult I have found it to secure employment in my field. This led me to consider pursuing higher education in order to stand out, only to face the possibility of repeating the same experience I had after completing my undergraduate degree.

Multimedia Project

Project 4 - Grade: Pending

For the last project I chose to continue option 1, which was choosing an informational topic of my own interest and expanding on it. The project was required to include at least four forms of media. I continued developing my original project, HappyHabit. However, for this project, I included my first prototype demo video, specific pages from the app, the storyboard, and an external link that allowed users to experience the prototype for themselves.
