Many stores have an app where you can shop, view the weekly ad, and even clip coupons and other discounts! The store apps are an integral part of the digital couponing process. You can search for sales in the weekly ad and combine them with other discounts and promotions to maximize your savings. Stores will vary based on your location; in Central Florida, here are some of the stores that we have that are great for couponing and saving:
CVS Pharmacy
CVS Pharmacy is a drugstore chain that has a great app for digital couponing! Couponing at CVS can be a bit complicated, but there are a ton of opportunities for stacking. CVS offers CRTs/store coupons and manufacturer coupons, plus a lot of opportunities to earn ExtraCare bucks (their cash rewards). ExtraCare bucks you earn can be used on future purchases and coupon deals to lower your out of pocket costs.

Dollar General
Dollar General is extremely beginner friendly - you really only need their app to get started! Every Saturday, Dollar General offers a $5 off $25 purchase coupon that can be stacked with other sales in store and digital coupons in their app.

Publix
Publix offers weekly BOGO (Buy One Get One) sales that are excellent standalone deals, but with the Publix app you can save even more! Publix offers store and manufacturer coupons in their app to help you maximize your savings (sometimes you'll even see BOGO coupons that can stack with the BOGO sale, making both items completely free!)

Target
Target is by and large one of the easiest places to coupon and save money! They often have great weekly sales in their store, and their app offers a plethora of Target Circle offers (store coupons) and manufacturer coupons. You'll also find a lot of cash back offers that are eligible at Target via third party rebate apps.

Walgreens
Walgreens is a large drugstore chain that has loads of coupons in their store app. They offer Walgreens Cash rewards back for shopping in the store (1% back storewide, 5% back on Walgreens branded products). They often have booster coupons that offer bonus Walgreens Cash when you make a qualifying purchase. Like CVS, Walgreens is bit complex and not super beginner friendly, but you can score amazing deals!

Walmart
Walmart often has low prices on groceries, personal care, and household items, which can be combined with manufacturer coupons and rebates. While there are no digital coupons in the Walmart app, you can use the app to scan items and check prices, and for price matching. If you are a Walmart+ member, you can use the "Scan & Go" feature, but keep in mind that this will not give you a paper receipt (which some rebate apps like Ibotta will require if you have not linked your account).
