Projects

Below I have provided descriptions and links to projects that I have developed thus far in my coursework. The first 3 (Graphics-Layout, Audio, and Multimedia Projects) were completed during my Multimedia for Education and Training course that focus on the topic of dog training. The last 3 (Analysis Report, Treatment Plan, and Flowcharts and Storyboards) were created during my Instructional Systems Design course that focuses on the development of a learning module for university faculty in regards to fostering multiple means for student engagement when teaching online.

Graphics-Layout Media Project

For the Graphics-Layout Media Project I created a visual narrated presentation on Dog Training 101: what it is, why it’s so important, tips to get started with training, and the benefits of an obedient dog. Click here or on the link below to view the presentation.

Audio Project

For the Audio Project I created a podcast that was meant to serve as one installment of a monthly dog training tip that would differ each month. This podcast addresses the topic of why puppies bite and how to prevent that uncomfortable and destructive behavior. Click here or on the link below to listen to the podcast.

Multimedia Project

For the Multimedia Project I created a website in Dreamweaver that discusses the importance of dog training, types of dog training to use, common behavior problems, as well as a list of training resources. To view the project, click here or on the image below.

Analysis Report

An Analysis Report is the first step that should be completed before designing instruction or training. Conducting goal and subordinate skills analyses helps to identify and sequence learning objectives and prerequisite skills. Conducting learner and context analyses help guide the design, delivery, and evaluation of instruction or training. Click here or on the link below to view the project.

Treatment Plan

An Instructional Treatment Plan starts to formulate an instructional strategy from grounded design theories. It also lays out the experiences, activities, media integration, and assessments (which should be connected with the learning objectives) that will be provided to the learners.
