Levels of AT

No-Tech

Any device that is not electronic and makes use of procedures, services, and existing conditions.
Examples:  Therapy, Organizational Strategies, Task Analysis

Low Tech
Electronic devices with limited mechanical use.
Examples:  Adapted Utensils, Velcro, Pencil Grippers

Middle Tech
Electronic devices and mechanical devices.
Examples:  Voice Recording Devices, Wheelchairs, Mobility Equipment

High Tech
Complex, multi-functioonal electronic devices, involving computers.
Examples:  Computers, IPADs, Electronic Programs
