ASL offers various applications for iPhone or Android devices as well as various online games to quikcly and effectively learn American Sign Language. Using applications and online games will help students learn ASL because it is something that they quickly gain interest and will diligently use it on a daily basis.

These are just a few examples of applications that you can find on the Google Playu store on your Android device or the App store on your Apple device.

Google Play Store Free Apps- Android Devices:

*ASL- American Sign Language
- On this free app, students can learn basic words, pain signs, food signs, school signs, history, the alphabet, learn numbers, facts and more.
*Sign Language for Beginners
- On this free app, students can learn the alphabet, numbers, greetings and phrases, question words, days and times of the day, and articles of clothing.
*ASL Flashcards
- This free app is more of a quiz app utilizing flashcards to help students better understand words/phraes and each of their sign. This app is very helpful for babies or young kids that are just starting to learn sign language. It is also conveniently tracks your progress as you learn.

Google Play Store Paid Apps- Android Devices:

*ASL Translator- $4.99
- This app includes seperate parts including text to sign generator, and ASL phrases. This app can translate entire books, emails, or any documents from the internet. As well as learning over 100 common phrases. This app has an average rating of 4.1 stars out of 5.
*ASL Dictionary- $4.99
- Students can learn over 5,000 different signs and over 700 multiple meaning words. Students will learn about money, time, dates, months, years, general numbers, and common phrases. This app also offers a slow motion picture to really grasp the hand motioning of the word or phrase.
*ASL Everyday Phrases- $2.99
- Students can learn different common phrases including body parts, articles of clothing, money, time, different vehicles, and weather patterns. This app is rated 2.7 out of 5 stars.

iTunes Apple Store Free Apps- iOS Devices

*The ASL App
- This app is Nyle Dimarco's app that he is featured on. This app teaches students about the alphabet, numbers, universal gestures, as well as over 800+ phrases. This app also has a slow motion feature that the students can rewind and replay for their convenience.
*Marlee Signs
- This app helps students spell words, learn words such as "you", "around you", "home" and more. Marlee Signs also teaches numbers and everyday signs.
*ASL American Sign Language
- ASL American Sign Language app in the iTunes store helps teach students about finger spelling, basic words, pain signs, food signs, school signs, and holiday signs. This app also features a variety of levels and quizzes that times you and score you based off your level of skills and knowledge.

iTunes Apple Store Paid Apps- iOS Devices

*ASL Dictionary HD American Sign Language- $7.99
- ASL Dictionary HD American Sgin Language offers a dictionary of words and phrases, different categories, quizzes, contact information, and about information. It also features quizzes for students to play along with.
*Learn American Sign Language- ASL Video Flashcards- $1.99
- This app offers 9 videos, practicing flash cards, as well as fun interactive quizzes.
*ASL Expressions- American Sign Language- $2.99
- ASL Expressions features different variations of greetings, essentials, doctor words and phrases, invitations, restauraunt words and phrases, and supermarket terms. This app includes such phrases like, "Are you free this evening?", "Are you married?", "Are you sure?", "Can I help you?", "Can I see the menu please?" and more.

- This online gaming website includes the following games: "Leah's Letter Challenge", "Hopkins Hop", and "Concentration". Within the game "Leah's Letter Challenge", students can learn abou the signs for the alphabet and play a fun game of memory match.
