Professional Bio
I recieved my Secondary Education Teaching Credential from California in 2010. After graduating from Biola University, I started my career in education at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). As a Clerkship Coorindator I managed and developed learning material for the third year medical school curriculum. While at UCSF I piloted an online calendar that aligned course activities with course objectives.
In 2012 I started teaching at Dr. Olga Mohan High School (DOMHS), where I was the A.P. Government and Economics Instructor. During my time at DOMHS the school was ranked by U.S. News and World report as the best school in Los Angeles. As a charter school within the College Ready Alliance our competency based instruction was recognized by Bill Gates as a model for other schools.
Since September 2013, I have been the Faculty Development Coordinator at the University of Central Florida, College of Medicine (UCF COM). During my time at UCF COM I have developed several on-line learning modules for a program we are developing called Advancing Clinical Teachers.
