Description from course syllabus: This course provides an overview of traditional and emerging audiovisual media for various instructional settings and purposes. There is an emphasis on developing knowledge and skills in evaluating, designing, producing, and using media such as text, hypertext, graphics, audio, video, and hypermedia, to enhance communication and instruction. This course provides an overview of media and technology in the context of both education and communication theory, and allows the student to explore media and technology through a variety of applications.
