KompoZer This open source web editor is essentially an updated version of NVU and is powered by Mozilla, the same creators of the Firefox browser. |

NVU If you have an old Mac or have experience with NVU, feel free to use it. NVU is essentially an older version of KompoZer. While there are both PC and Macintosh versions, it may not run on older Macs (that use PowerPC). |

FrontPage Frontpage is a web editor supported by Microsoft. It is a bit old, but has a similar interace to other Microsoft products, such as Word. This makes it appealing to some. While Microsoft has ceased support for FrontPage, tools such as SharePoint Designer and Expression Web are very similar...and essentially updated versions of FrontPage. |
