 Now you have your topic and your hypothesis.  It's time for the fun part!  First, we will walk through the  steps or "procedures " of an experiment.  Then, we'll learn how  to collect data and make a chart or graph.

Experimental Procedures (Steps)


1. Gather all of your materials.

2.  Set it up and have everything you need ready.

3.  Write down the steps that you will follow

4.  As you do the experiment, if you find problems with your steps, change them and write it down.

5.  Take pictures and jot down your results as you go.

6.  Make sure to write your final procedures in your outline.
