Exploration of the IDT program at UCF needs to include the courses that you will take. This section will provide you with a list of required courses and descriptions of each. You will also find a recommended sequence of coursework. Courses build on each other and following the sequence will ensure that you get maximum benefit from each course.

In many of the courses, projects are a significant part of the work. In the earlier classes these projects are designed to get students to practice what is being taught in the course and to experiment with new technology. In the later courses, the projects become much larger in scope and more sophisticated in use of technology. They are designed to get students to draw on information gathered in preceding courses as well as on new research. Students must constantly learn new software applications in order to be able to provide the best method of instruction for each project. You will find links to actual projects in many of the required courses. As you review these projects, notice the progression of skill levels in each successive course.
