My name is Erica Lackey. Welcome to my electronic portfolio! As a current fifth-grade virtual teacher, I firmly believe that every student has the capacity to excel academically when educational content is delivered with purpose and relevance. In my classroom, I strive to empower learners by fostering a sense of ownership in their education and ecouraging them to advocate for their needs. To achieve this, I prioritize the development of strong student-teacher relationships and cultivate a classroom community where students feel safe to make mistakes and pose questions.
